Gerson Gilrandy is interdisciplinary creative from Jakarta, Indonesia. He’s currently living in Melbourne, Australia. He has a background in street art, illustration, and communication design; his style is mainly organic, focuses on a strong and distinctive use of organic surreal creatures and objects that are empowered by whimsical and emotional situations.
His philosophy “We are Slimy yet Satisfying” was inspired by how human nature likes to hide their inner problems and not to be true to themselves out in society. “We are Slimy yet Satisfying” is a message to the people out there that we are okay to be not okay. There’s a magical value in human vulnerability.
